Glad to be back! Celine Dion looked ecstatic while leaving her hotel on the way to perform again on Tuesday as she put on a brave face following death of her husband

She made an emotional return to the stage in Paris on Saturday.

And the sold-out gig appeared to have left Celine Dion in high spirits as she looked ecstatic while leaving her hotel on the way to perform again on Tuesday.

The 48-year-old fist pumped, blew kisses and whooped along with the crowd who had gathered outside the Royal Monceau Hotel in the French capital.

Celine channeled her sunny disposition into her outfit as she slipped on an eye-catching neon yellow midi dress, with pretty pussy bow detailing.

The flowing material of the gown flattered the singer’s lithe frame as it swirled around her knees in waves of delicate material in a ladylike fashion.

But she hardened up her look with a black leather biker jacket, which she pulled over her shoulders to keep cosy in the June breeze.

The show must go on: The 48-year-old fist pumped, blew kisses and whooped along with the crowd who had gathered outside the Royal Monceau Hotel in the French capital

Stylish Celine made sure to perfectly match all her accessories in matte and patent black materials, including a large tote bag and knee-high stiletto boots.

And she played it cool with the crowds as she covered her face with a pair of typically oversized shades.

The My Heart Will Go On singer went virtually makeup free for the outing and sported an enviably flawless complexion.

She also opted for a low-key look in the hair department, as she pulled back her sleek auburn locks into a low chignon.

The singer appeared particularly excited for her next gig, as she took to Instagram to post a photo of her waving goodbye to the huge crowd who had gathered to wave her off.

She captioned the snap: ‘En route pour une autre performance à l’ @accorhotels_arena. Ready for tonight!’

Emotional: Celine Dion was clearly moved as she performed during her sold-out concert in Paris on Saturday

She recently topped the French charts with her single Encore Un Soir – a song dedicated to her late husband, René Angélil.

And Celine Dion was clearly moved as she performed the hit – along with other favourites from her back catalogue – during her sold-out concert in Paris on Saturday.

The 48-year-old singer had earlier greeted hundreds of fans who had gathered to see the star outside her luxurious hotel.

She took to one of the balconies of the Royal Monceau Hotel wearing a long white belted crepe coat to wave to the ecstatic crowd below.

Celine then left the building, looking composed with her hair in an elegant up do, and happily posed for selfies while signing countless autographs.

At her concert in the AccorHotels Arena, in the southeast of the French capital, the singer channelled a similarly refined, but more dressy, look compared to her earlier appearance.

She opted for a smart black blazer with satin lapels over an intricate white lace top teamed with contrasting wide-legged trousers.

Sharp: At her concert in the AccorHotels Arena in the southeast of the French capital the singer channelled a refined, but dressy, look

Her long blonde tresses had been styled in relaxed curls – framing her expressive visage during the emotional performance.

At moments during the show Celine appeared to be overcome, perhaps as she thought of her late husband.

The singer’s mini tour, which began in Belgium, is in support of her upcoming French-language studio album, set to be released later in 2016.

Celine has been determined to continue her commitments this year despite the loss of her husband at the age of 73 on January 13 following a long battle with throat cancer. Her brother Daniel died just days later.

Happy: She took to one of the balconies of the Royal Monceau Hotel wearing a long white belted crepe coat to wave to the ecstatic crowd below

Relaxed: Celine then left the building, looking composed with her hair in an elegant up do, and happily posed for selfies while signing countless autographs

The star broke down on stage at her residency show at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace just weeks after her double loss.

During the 2016 Billboard Awards last month the My Heart Will Go On singer said that she wanted to prove to her children that she was strong and make her husband proud by following his mantra of ‘the show must go on’.

Celine’s son René-Charles made a surprise appearance on stage to present her with the Icon award after she made her first televised singing performance since the death of her husband and brother.

Celine also has twins Nelson and Eddy, who are just five-years-old.

She was overcome with emotion as the crowd gave her a standing ovation and apologized to the audience for crying. Many watching were also reduced to tears.

‘I’m so sorry. I’m sorry for crying. I want to be so strong for my family and kids,’ she told the crowd.

‘I don’t want to cry in front of you,’ she then said to her son. ‘Thank you very much. This is such a tremendous honour. Music has been my passion since before I can almost remember.’

She added that her late husband will ‘continue to watch over me from up above’.

Overcome: The singer appeared touched by the number of people who has turned out to see her
