If you’re going to receive the 2016 Billboard Music Awards’ Icon Award, you might as well give everyone a dazzling reminder why you earned it. In Céline Dion‘s case, the honorific was a lock years and years ago, but we’ll never turn down a performance from the woman who gave us “Because You Loved Me.”
For a thunderous rendition of Queen’s 1991 song “The Show Must Go On,” Dion was joined onstage by a very on-point symphony. Electric violinist Lindsey Stirling, who also appeared on the studio version of the cover released on Friday, got to enjoy her own spotlight. Dion belting the final note was a moment that the entirety of the BBMAs may not top.
